My sister told us all about it last summer after they got back from Palau, but her MIL didn't know the English name for the fruit. We found freeze-dried rambutan at Trader Joes. Quite yummy! Once they're peeled, they look a bit like a larger peeled grape, so Nick just popped it into his mouth. The woman gasped, "Pit! Pit!" thankfully before he chomped down on the fruit. They're pretty tasty, but not easy to find in Boston...Got 2 Trot Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06716848943540926912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16132334.post-89188289364292745702008-09-24T05:21:00.000-07:002008-09-24T05:21:00.000-07:00Great looking lunch! Repeat until you're full!beanjeepinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13308850663784080559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16132334.post-45848930791589881642008-09-22T14:52:00.000-07:002008-09-22T14:52:00.000-07:00I saw some rambutans at the Asian market the other...I saw some rambutans at the Asian market the other day, and I was like, what the heck is that?!
