Sorry, but you'll have to squint to read this Sunday's Sally Forth (why is Sally Forth always so darn small on Sunday?)
P.S. In case you're not sure, no, shmoo is not my son's real name. It was just a family "term of endearment" I decided to use as a web alias when I started blogging. Little did we know!
I love it! I just discovered your blog...and have been calling my 2-year-old daughter Shmoo since birth. It has evolved to Shmoo bear, Shmoo Berry Bean Deluxe, and a number of others. I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteNeat! You should definitely have this framed for little schmoo!
ReplyDeleteI just found out about your book and blog and I just wanted to say how impressed I was about everything you've created!Particularly how devoted you are to your son's little lunches- very inspiring!I'm looking forward to reading your blog in the future! Thanks! =]
ReplyDeleteI was going to send you this comic yesterday but I couldn't find a web version in a decent sized font. Glad got to read it though. I couldn't believe that Erik Marcus used your son's real name in his forward. It's a lovely name, but he is Shmoo to the world!
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I both got copies of The Vegan Lunch Box for our birthdays last week. I was already hooked on your blog, and now my mom will inevitably be one day too. Thanks for sharing your amazing recipes. :)
Hehehe I used to love Shmoo the cartoon. Not sure how old I was when it was out but I watched it religiously. Not sure why as I'd probably think it rubbish now.
ReplyDeleteFor those not familiar with Shmoo the cartoon/comic:

I remember Shmoo from the the old Lil' Abner comic strip.
ReplyDeleteHa! Totally cute.
ReplyDeleteAnd what luck.
Cheers.
