Wow -- over 400 comments on the last post! Unbelievable! Thank you all for your votes, comments, and suggestions on which cover to choose for Vegan Lunch Box ("The Book").
Extra-special thank yous to all the book designers and stylists who emailed me with suggestions, mock-ups, and new ideas -- your advice has really made a difference!
We've used a combination of your votes along with some of the new ideas we've received to come up with the final cover. Sadly, we are nixing the stripes (sorry, stripe lovers!) and will be giving Contestant #1 a final makeover before her big debut. Stay tuned!

I liked contestant number one but wasn't able to get my vote in. I too can't wait to see the finished product.
Oh, I really liked the stripes. I agreed with some of the commenters, that it seemed more playful and fun. But I guess #1 has a more instant appeal, especially from a distance, and that's what won out in the end.
Dear Jennifer, You are fabulous! I just came off a 20 day Master Cleanse and found so much inspiration in your pages! I am going to do my best to outlaw dairy products. I would have voted for #1 but I was too late. Congrats on your book. That is wonderful and I'm sure it will be fab.
At this point, it could just be boring white paper that says Vegan Lunch Box in simple black letters and I would still buy it. But what you have going is sure to be great! I am looking forward to the book... along with 400+ other people, at least!

You know, after I thought about it I changed my mind--I think #1 was the better cover. But who cares? I can't wait to cook your crazy-cool lunches! You can givee them to me in a paper bag tied shut with twine, for all I care...
I just got back from vacation and saw this...I'm so excited I may have to run to the bathroom!!!! The actual book! It's almost here! Where are the book signings going to be? I'll be first in line. :)
Please include color photos for your recipes. I have such a hard time with cookbooks that don't to the point that I can't use them. Your pictures make your food so appetizing!
